My Story...

For most of my life, I didn’t know she was still there inside me.
I just thought I was too sensitive, too intense, or too broken.

But truthfully?
I was just carrying pain that was never mine to carry.
Like many women, I had learned to survive by disconnecting from my feelings, from my needs, and from the softest parts of myself.

It wasn’t until I began reconnecting with my inner girl

that things truly shifted :

💗 I stopped abandoning myself to please others.
💗 I learned how to give myself the love and comfort I used to crave.
💗 I finally started to feel safe inside my own body and heart.

And that’s why I created this journal.


Because I know how scary it can be to meet your inner child for the first time…
But I also know the freedom, clarity, and self-love that

are waiting for you when you do.

She’s not asking for you to fix everything.
She’s just asking for you to come sit with her.
To listen. To hold her hand.
To remind her that she’s not alone anymore.

And this journal will guide you, one letter, one prompt, one gentle moment at a time.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I'm Yelna, psychotherapist, self-concept coach, and creator of To My Dear Self™.

For over a decade, I have studied, practiced, and taught the art of self-reparenting, helping women break free from inherited conditioning, heal self-abandonment, and reconnect with who they truly are.

My work combines Inner Child Healing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), nervous system rewiring, hypnosis, and self-concept transformation to create lasting change from the inside out.

Through my work, I've guided women in rebuilding emotional safety, strengthening self-trust, and transforming the beliefs and patterns that keep them stuck in cycles of guilt, over-functioning, and disconnection.

To My Dear Self: Let's Reconnect was created as an extension of that work, a guided space to help you reconnect with yourself, nurture your inner world, and begin becoming the woman you were always meant to be.

 

My hope is that these pages help you return home to yourself.
